"Van Aert on Ventoux" - Original Painting

Simon's original painting is a stylised depiction of Wout Van Aert on Mont Ventoux, where he won stage 11 of the Tour de france 2021 which included two ascents of the famous mountain. After launching an attack 11km from the summit of Mont Ventoux on the second ascent, he held his advantage on the long, twisting descent to the finish in Malaucène for a stunning solo victory.
