Froome on Ventoux Original Painting

Simon's highly stylised painting of Chris Froome at the top of the iconic Mont Ventoux where he won perhaps his most impressive Tour de France Stage victory on Bastille Day in 2013. Simon has captured the essence of the barren terrain, difficulty of the climb and Froome's effort with distorted perspective and the use of simple shapes and colours. A hint and modern twist to the old iconic posters of the 1920's.
